+ScoutingWV
If you were offended to see that language on another page, why post it here? Link to comment
+sis
didn't say i was offended. i'm merely amazed of this first of a kind event. Link to comment
+BalkanSabranje
As "Jörg" is a German name, I'd rather not be surprised, 'cause they're less into PC (or however you might call this strange behaviour). Link to comment
+RakeInTheCache
Yes, could be that English is not his mother tongue. People are generally less inhibited to curse in a foreign language. Link to comment
Mustcache
The last time I was in Germany, a fest band was singing a song in english that included that word. "Alice! Who the **** is Alice?" There were people of all ages enjoying the music too. It was a catchy tune and I don't think anyone even blinked an eye, except a few Americans. So, I agree that that type of word doesn't have the same meaning to a non-english (EASL) speaker. Link to comment
+sis
well, well, you never stop learning.... i'm so old that louie, louie was banded from the airways when i was entering my teen years. Link to comment
+Moose Mob
Some would argue that the use of profanity indicates the lack of knowledge of one's own language, while knowing the proper use of profanity in a foreign language shows a more thurough knowledge of it. Link to comment

+ByrnedFish
Had a german excahnge student at our school and took him a while to realize that was a "bad word" in english. they use it as like "darn" for us. Nothing wrong with it to them Link to comment
Trinity's Crew
Hmmm... all of this talk of Germans not understanding the gravity of American cuss words reminds me of a line from General Burkhalter (sp?) from Hogan's Heroes... Klink! I have to be in F***ing Brussels in the morning. Link to comment
