i just logged a cache. The finds count was the same before as after the log. i counted my found-its and the are the same as the find count. Is there any way to find out if a cache owner has recently deleted a find without mentioning it to me? What is going on here?

But why does the count match my list? Could a cache owner have deleted my log without some record of it somewhere?

If a cache owner deleted a log you should have received an e-mail letting you know the log has been deleted.

Did you try refreshing your browser? If you're looking at your stats banner, it can take a few minutes for it to update.

 

Also, the find count listed on cache page logs won't update until something forces the entire page to be updated (someone posts a new log, or the owner makes a change to the page).

Umm, that's not exactly true and was changed months ago. You do need to wait for the servers to have a chance to refresh the data though.

The new log is already on the list. The list number matches the stats banner. They are just both one less than they should be, but i don't have my finds list memorized so i can't tell if any are missing. Weird.

Someone suggested it, and maybe you did, but you didn't mention it - did you hit F5 to refresh your browser?
