barryhunter Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 add this to your feedreeder: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/rss.php but you will probably want to create a specific to a particular forum: http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/rss.php?forum=8 get the ID from the URL when viewing the homepage of a particualr forum. +Jurgen & co Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Sorry with 8 and several other forums i get a message from my rss-reader that this is not a vallid feed. I got this also wit the german speaking forum i like to follow. But this is repaired.
+Jeremy Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 The new forum software will have built-in rss feeds, I believe. This old forum software is using an add-in which isn't very bulletproof.
+Jurgen & co Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Thanks. Is there a thread about the new forum software because i can't use the search funtion.
+Jurgen & co Posted February 7, 2006 Posted February 7, 2006 Is there something new about RSS on this forum?

Hi Jeremy The new sofware is working for some days now. But i can't see any possibilty of RSS. Will it come?
+lost-in-space Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 How about providing an RSS feed for new caches in my area? This would be really nice in place of my weekly email, to receive notice in my feed reader as soon as a new cache is placed in a 100 mile radius of my location. Has this already been discussed? I just joined the forums today. Thanks, Conor Donnelly

+Team Trail Walker Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Look for the orange RSS logo at the bottom of the page. Works for me.
+Jeremy Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 I just added some feeds today. We'll see how they go and add more if they work out ok.
+Jurgen & co Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 (edited) The RSSfeeds are working wel until now. One thing I have Discoverd is that in the message I get from the "Geocaching.com website-feed" only the header is displayed. With the others also the the teks is displayed. This is importend for me because i normaly use the preview setting and do not see the real site. A other thing is wen i hit the RSS button a pulldownsreen is opend. Woodend it better to have a pullupscreen because not the hole tekst is displayed. Or you have to scroll the screen again. Edited March 11, 2006 by Jurgen & co
+PandyBat Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 (edited) I still can't get the RSS feeds to work with bloglines.com. Maybe I am doing it wrong. Can anyone help? EDIT: Nevermind....I just figured it out! Ü Edited March 14, 2006 by PandyBat
