t-hunt, Inc
I'm ready to place my first cache. I have an ammo box, it's tough but heavy and noisy to open. What else can I use that's tougher than Tupperware? Quote Link to comment
Isonzo Karst
Love that ammo box. But if you don't like it, then try Lock'n'Lock containers. I'm finding them at Walmart and Target, food storage. They have a gasket and lock down tabs. Quote Link to comment
Bill & Tammy
Agree absolutely with the above. Ammo cans are the best, the only time I don't prefer them is in an urban setting where it might be best to have the contents visible if accidently found. That is when I go Lock & Lock. +Wandering Bears
You already have the best container. Quote Link to comment
briansnat
As everyone else here says, ammo boxes are the best. Lock n Locks are a distant second and right with Lock n Locks are Nalgene straight jars. Quote Link to comment
Team Cotati
Recycled plastic mayonaise jars painted black or dark green or whatever you like. The best thing about these is the frequency of 100% price mark downs. For smaller hides, recycled vitamin pill bottles work well. Same discount policy. Some people have even been caught using rubbermaid products. Edited January 8, 2006 by Team Cotati Quote Link to comment
