roktoys84
I went caching with a friend recently and want to get my own gps. I've done a bit of research and decided on the Garmon GPSMap60CS. Where's the cheapest place to buy a NEW 60cs? Quote Link to comment

roktoys84
WOW! Thats $140 cheaper than REI. Anyone else dealt with them? Quote Link to comment
+Langner91
I have one in my Amazon.com shopping cart for $343.95 with free shipping. You have to click a few links on their site to get to that price, but now that the $50 rebate has expired, I believe this is the best price out there. Quote Link to comment
roktoys84
Were the shipping prices at gpsonsale reasonable? Quote Link to comment
+Langner91
I just checked their rates for my zip code (In Illinois). $15.62 if I have it shipped to my house. $13.32 if I have it shipped to my work address. UPS ground. Obviously, one can chose more expensive and faster options. Quote Link to comment
+Sputnik 57
$369.90 per current Froogle results. YMMV. Quote Link to comment

+Miragee
Just click on the Add to Cart button and that is the price they reveal. The 60C is actually less expensive than the Vista C is right now. Quote Link to comment
roktoys84
I hit add to cart and it listed the price as $422??? Quote Link to comment
+wickedsprint
395 at www.gpsdiscount.com (the one with free tee shirt) Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
I hit add to cart and it listed the price as $422??? That's interesting. It is sitting in my cart, along with the Vista C. The Vista C is $318.94. The 60CS is $343.94. Maybe it has to do with cookies and how many times you have viewed the item . . . The Vista C is a lot less expensive at GPSOnSale.com and GPSDiscount, but Amazon has the best price I've seen on the 60CS. Quote Link to comment
+Langner91
I am thinking something has changed. I have one in my shopping cart for $343.95, but if I attempt to add another, it is $400+. Somewhere, someone realized that price was too low. Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
Aha . . . you are right. In fact, I can't get one now. They say it isn't available from the seller I chose. A few weeks ago I ordered the Vista C from one of their "sellers." The price was very low. However, the next morning I had an email that stated the purchase couldn't be completed . . . +Langner91
I am going to hold out and own one of these bad boys in the next few months. I just know the prices are going to drop, or they will have another rebate or similar program before the end of the year. Of course, I could make my prediction come true faster by simply buying one now.... Quote Link to comment
