thecyr
You have to zoom in closer to be able to see. also enable gps data from the view menu i think. Quote Link to comment
Olar
Also in the "View" menu pull-down, click on "map detail" and set it at "HIGH" or even higher. This will increase map detail so that contour lines appear at the 700 metre mark when zooming in. Note that this only affects what you see on your PC. The detail level on your GPSR would have to be set on the hand-held separately. Luck, Olar Quote Link to comment
dogbreathcanada
If you have a number of different maps (MetroGuide, Topo, etc.) you have to choose the correct Product under the View menu. (At least in MapSource 5.4.) Quote Link to comment
Couparangus
i've installed topo canada but i don't see much detail. You have to turn the monitor on. In all seriousness, go to: VIEW => MAP DETAIL => HIGHEST C-A Quote Link to comment

1701eh
If the problem is on the GPS, try going to the setup page, select map, press menu button, and then HIDE the other maps that are currently set to SHOW. That is the sequence for my GPSmap 60C, yours might be different. Thanx, Tony Quote Link to comment
