+TeamK-9 Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 I generally use GSAK to get my pocket queries onto my PDA. Anyway, I'm going to an event this afternoon, and I've loaded up 250 nearest caches onto the PDA. Is there anyway to get a list in order sort of like a normal cache search page would have? Basically, I just want a list of all the caches, in order of closeness from my center point, and I want it on my PDA. It's hard to explain, but I think someone knows what I mean. Quote
+TeamK-9 Posted July 10, 2005 Author Posted July 10, 2005 Okay, I just discovered I can print my database from GSAK. It's still not quite what I'm looking for. I have nine pages of information when really I only need a name, a distance, and a waypoint code. Quote
+Uncle T K Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Open CacheMate on you Palm. Tap the Cache that you want to be the center point. Tap CacheMate Uper Left corner Tap Nearest Caches Tap force list rebuild Tap Ok Tap Ok (Or Select Filter) (List will rebuid) You are finished Quote
+TeamK-9 Posted July 10, 2005 Author Posted July 10, 2005 Unfortunately, I don't use cachemate, I just have GSAK generate HTML files for me. However, while screwing around, I discovered that I can change the number of nearest caches shown from 5 to just about anything. I set it at twenty and I'm pleased with the results. Quote
+webscouter. Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Get Cachemate, It will be the best 8 bucks you have spent for your PDA Quote
+Cats Can't Cache Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 We use MobiPocket...and have had no complaints. It lists like you see it in your query preview, and it was free! Quote
2oldfarts (the rockhounders) Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 (edited) Did you try setting the center point first, before sending to the PDA? GSAK will sort according to which ever cache you want as the Center point. John editted for speeling. Edited July 10, 2005 by 2oldfarts (the rockhounders) Quote
