warthog
I will be in the Kruger National Park for a long weekend and would like to now if their are any cachers that may have waypoints of the camps, gates and interest points in the park. Any waypoints will help as I would like to test the "routing" module on my GPS over the weekend. I have visited "gpswaypoints.co.za" but there were not to many that I could use. Link to comment
Brick
INFOMAP make nice maps with all the waypoints listed. I think you can get them from Makro and Outdoor warehouse. I used one of these maps on a trip to Namibia. Link to comment
GlobalRat
Unfortunately not. BUT, this is exactly the type of info I want to add to my tracks section on my website. So while you are up there, please record waypoints and routes and send em my way for editing and compiling. Link to comment
warthog
As per Bricks suggestion (thanks very much) , I have now purchased the Infomap series for the KNP and Lowveld, as well as the Drakensberg and Eastern Freestate. These both have many waypoints (nearly every major road turn off / intersection). I will test some of these over the weekend and let you have a report back on Tuesday. Link to comment
geocacher_coza
I have the CD with all the Infomaps on. It is a worthwhile investment. Also use the hard copies and find them very helpfull. Link to comment
