WH
A non-geocacher. The term was borrowed from the Harry Potter series where a muggle was a non-magical person. Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
It's use is typically reseved for when non-geocachers interfere in a cache hunt in some way. "I coudln't look for the cache, too many muggles were hanging around" "I was reaching for the cache when a muggle said "Whatch ya doin?" right behind me and scared me half to death" "My cache was muggled so I had to archive it". Your cache is muggled is when you think some random person took your cache because they happend to find it. Edit to add: Some people are allergic to the term. +Tharagleb
Hm. Where is flask, anyhow? Flask is fine, I believe she is staying out of the forums for a while, tho I haven't done a search to see if this is true or not. I am considering starting a campaign to replace the term "muggle" with "strag". An exercise for the reader is to determine where the term came from... Quote Link to comment

I will now correct myself: She's had at least 8 posts in the last 30 days, so she's around... Quote Link to comment
+Greymane
I assume you don't mean STRAG as in STRING BAG. Quote Link to comment
Apollo Bob
If muggles become strags, will that make us all froods? Quote Link to comment

+Team Wildebeest
I like 'strag', fits in better with the TB's being what they are than 'muggle' does. Now if you will excuse me I have to get my towel and wipe the condensation off my pan-galactic gargle blaster. Quote Link to comment
+Tharagleb
Apollo Bob and Team Wildebeest get gold stars. A "strag" is a non-hitchhiker in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Whence also comes the term hoopy frood. Edited June 29, 2005 by Tharagleb Quote Link to comment
+Team Wildebeest
I actually do carry a towel in my backpack. It's amazing just how useful the darn thing really is out in the wilderness. BTW have you heard the final episodes of the radio series? It ends on a much more upbeat tone than the trilogy did. Quote Link to comment
