+Reffek
How about a new log type: "Needs Maintenace" It'd be a little more important than a Note and a little less rude than a SBA. Link to comment
Keystone
See this post from Jeremy where he confirms his intention to do this, and a few other things. Link to comment
+GeoBlank
If I post a find though and mention the maintenance I am killing 2 logs with one post. I ready find logs on my caches. Seems like a finder needing to do post is overkill. I guess when I own 100 caches though I might think differently... Link to comment
+Markwell
The difference on the Needs Maintenance log (as I understand it) would be that it places an attribute on the cache that it needs a little TLC. When someone (ANYONE) posts that it's been fixed up, the attribute would be removed. Link to comment
+AtlantaGal
Glad to see this change will occur. Link to comment
+solid-rock-seekers
After finding a cache earlier today that desparately needed maintenance and has had varying levels of requests for attention from previous cachers since Oct 17, 2004, please include me amongst the cachers who would really like to see these new log types implemented soon! +Wreck Diver
This might also prove a beneficial nudge to correct some of the many caches in southeastern Massachusetts that have been disabled for several months without action by the owners. No one wants to post a Should Be Archived on disabled or poorly maintained caches, but if they have been disabled for a prolonged period and the owner continues to cache without correcting his own cache issues, an intermediary formal suggestion to enable or archive should prompt an owner response before generating administrative action. Good suggestion Reffek, and thanks Jeremy. Link to comment

CoyoteRed
When someone (ANYONE) posts that it's been fixed up, the attribute would be removed. That would have been cool. Alas... Link to comment
knowschad
I think it sounds like a very good idea and should be implemented posthaste! Link to comment
+tozainamboku
My concern is that someone will see this and think, "Look, Groundspeak listens to requests for new features that are posted in the Geocaching.com Web Site forum and even implements them" That will encourage hundreds of new requests for features and put a load on the poor forum software that already has trouble keeping up.
