Riemann Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 I have a garmin 76cs and mapsource north america city select, Australia City Navigator. Software is on a desktop at home. I recently acquired a notebook. Can I also install same software on the notebook? Can I uninstall from desktop and reinstall on notebook? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
spud67 Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 I am running Metroguide Canada and Topo Canada on a home PC and a laptop with no problems. There was no troubles when I installed them on both computers and no problems so far in using them at all.

Tzoid Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 (edited) The restriction lies as far as I know in the number of GPS units you can simultaneously install maps into, not the number of computers to install MapSource itself on. Edited April 7, 2005 by Tzoid
LandRover Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 My uderstanding is, is that you can put the software on as many computers as you would like but you are restricted to interfacing with a total of two GPSr's with a single license. This is for Mapsource City Select, Metroguide and many of Garmins other software products have no such restriction.
CYBret Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 This is a duplicate to the thread you started over here. Since your question applies to that forum more than to this one, please continue the discussion there. Thanks. I'm closing this one down. Bret
