Milestone Intervals

Don't get me wrong, celebrating accomplishments are a great thing....

I'm just wondering what are the "True Milestones" for measuring success.

I know for myself that I have considered somethings as milestones that really aren't all that special of a number (like 125), and after seeing all these recent success stories I got to wondering that if I was going to put up a chart on the OGA site, what criteria should I use.

So here is my list... please feel free to suggest any alternatives and your reasoning for it.

(Yes, the weather is bad today.... can you tell?)

Here goes

Total Find Milestones : 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000

Traditional Milestones : Same

Multi Milestones : Same

Puzzle Milestones : 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000, 2500

Letterbox : 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250

Virtual Milestones : 25, 50, 100, 250

Locationless Milestones : 25, 50, 100, 250

Event Milestones : 25, 50, 100, 250

If you're as bored as I am, feel free to add your thoughts.

Of course I'm kidding.

This is just a fluff conversation. I do like to note things, but this is hardly something "Important"

I just wondered how different people measure these things.

I'm snowed in, the internet keeps disconnecting, the TV is out, what else is there but a random conversation LOL.

We've noted our 100, 200 and 500th finds in our profile, but 250 would be more 'logical'.

I would have thought the more "logical" milestones would be 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 etc.

For me a milestone is finally finding a really tough cache that has been eluding me. Much more satisfying than just "hitting the numbers" in a Walmart parking lot
