+T-bone's Team
I would love to do a keyword search in a given area (25 mile radius of home) etc. Any chance of that happening? T-Bone! Link to comment
+jeff35080
You may want to post this in the Geocaching.com Web Site forum where Jeremy typically responds to more inquiries. Happy geocaching! Edited March 17, 2005 by jeff35080 Link to comment
bug and snake
You could possibly do that using one of the third party editing progs could you not? Down load the area caches and then search them for what you want? Dunno - just a thought..... Well! The progs MIGHT let ya!! Now I am wondering why you would want to do that! Link to comment

+T-bone's Team
Bug and snake... I want to find caches on golf courses (if any) in my area....not the whole world. Sifting through the 500 or so in a 25 mile radius is not appealing. The best way to do this would be to apply a keyword filter to a radius search I would think. I could then combine my two fav pass times! I also thought it would be a great place to put caches to "promote" my favorite holes btw...what is the "appropriate" forum? Link to comment

+Walker Boh
In my humle opinion the keyword search as implemened at the moment is nearly useless. When I search for "Lost Place"-Caches for example, I receive about 600 results. Sorted in some strange order, or even not sorted at all. The distance to my home coordinates is also missing. Then I noticed, Pocket Queries don't have an input field for keywords at all! That would be extremely nice, then you could even search around an arbitray center point and have the distances in the result list. Maybe "keyword with distance" could be a "members only"- feature , but I think there *should* be such a feature. Or does anyone really use the keyword search and gets USEFUL results? regards, W.B.
