I have a garmin extrex venture and I was wondering if anyone knew if they sold a holder for it while your in your car so you can mount it to the dashboard

Either check on the Garmin site or on Ebay. They have all kinds of different holders for them. Either windshield mounts dashboard mounts or even vent mounts. I'm sure you can find one for your needs. Plus there are all kinds of other sites that specialize in GPS accessories, just do a Google search. Hope that helps.

I got one that suchion cups to the windshield from Radio Shack. It is a cell phone holder but works great for my Vista C.

Heres a pretty cool thing to hold it on the dash horizontily. They work great with anything you don't want moving around.

See me at the next geo-holics meeting and I will show you mine it is an OEM from garmin and mounts by suction cup to the windshield. I got it off EBAY for about $22

I got the garmin windshield mount off of amazon.com abuot $25, and it works great.

I also bought the windshield mount from Radio Schack for $9.95 and it works great! The suction is really strong on the windshield and it works for my GARMIN MAP 76 really well. The holder is adjustable from about 2 5/8 inches wide to narrower. The price sure beats what GARMIN wants for their stuff. The holder slips off the mount very easily to take the GPS out of the mount. I highly recommend it.
