+Thot
Feed this utility a .gpx or .loc file and it will find areas with the highest cache density – the greatest concentration of caches near each other. Want to know where the most caches in your area are located? This utility will tell you and show you on a geocaching.com map. Give it a try and tell us what you think. http://factsfacts.com/geocachingsoft/CacheClusters.htm I’ve tested it, but it’s new so it may still have a few glitches. +JohnnyVegas
My desk top is 98, my laptop is XP. ( IT does work, I will try for a while. It even shows caches I have already found. While I can see clusters also with maping software, this is a great tool for geocachers that are on a budget or that are just getting started and do not own mapping software. A win 98 version would be great for my desk top computer Quote Link to comment
+robert
Is there an echo in here? http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=88743 I use GSAK to do this, exporting an HTML file that can be viewed on your PDA and on your PC... one of the links on the HTML file is cache density with several caches listed along with a number corresponding to the number of caches in a 5 mile radius.
