+OrtizFamily
Hello, I want to send my travel bug to Okinawa, Japan from Southern California (and hopefully have him return back to his home in Southern California). What are his chances of making this trip? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike Quote Link to comment

Two years ago, a guy activated a bug to go there - it was a replica of the guard of a katana. The bug to this date has disappeared and nobody has heard from it since. Quote Link to comment
+seeker22
Release the bug... I will try to mind meld with it and send it to Sukiran, Naha, and Gate 2 St. via a geo-surrogate. Mushi mushi... Sukiran '68-69 Quote Link to comment
+Defender1
I can’t imagine it would be that hard, there are a bunch of cachers that are military and go overseas all the time. I have a friend who is on his way to Germany next month and I’m sure he could get the bug to Japan. Just email or PM me, I would be happy to help you out. Quote Link to comment
+AtoZ
Go to Hicke(SP??) airforce base and find some one heading that way. cheers Quote Link to comment
+ibnfe2
If you're near San Diego, drop it off near Camp Pendleton. There are a lot of Marines that are stationed or deploying over here. I'm deployed to Okinawa myself, and I transferred from Ventura about a year ago. There aren't a lot of Navy personnel here, so dropping it off near a Navy base, is probably not as good a bet as a Marine or Air Force Base. Quote Link to comment
BRTango
Or if you can somehow direct it up to the Pugeot Sound region, there are a good number of 1st SF Group and WA ARNG guys that routinely go back and forth to Okinawa. Quote Link to comment
