+ECO Trekkers
When two Geocachers find a cache jointly how is it logged? Can we both get credit for the find? Quote Link to comment
+SamLowrey
I have found a bong, but never a joint while caching. Quote Link to comment
+Barnacle Bear
There's a guy around here with 33 co-finds who doesn't even own a GPS. Quote Link to comment
Jeremy
Log it through each account. Tell your own story about the find. I'm sure you'll come up with a different perspective. Quote Link to comment
+Lemon Fresh Dog
Many of my caches have been found by "teams" - I like when each member writes a log and signs the logbook. I've never seen a joint FTF though! One of my favourite imagined scenarios is when two cachers that are working separately arrive at the site at the same time -- who finds it first! I've often thought of placing and posting 25 caches at once -- just to cause this fun pandemonium! Quote Link to comment
+Shasties
My first multi Shastie Stash had a joint FTF. The game requires finding 4 different game pieces and obtain code words from each piece to find the final cache. It got down to two teams each having the final game piece that the other team needed. They called a truce and shared the FTF honors. Quote Link to comment
+Cocacola1820
Hubby and I both log our finds seperately but we cache together. In the case of a FTF we usually allow whoever finds it to log as FTF! I don't own a GPS yet but I have my own account and log them just as Hubby does. Quote Link to comment
