+marcjboudreau
Howdy, I'm trying to put together my first cache. I have a location already picked out, and even managed a theme for my cache, but I do have a question. I see in the guidelines that no knives, or pocket tools are allowed. I have a small swiss army tool, I'd like to include. It does not have a knife blade on it all. It has a small pair of scissors, a pen, a pair of tweezers and a flat head screwdriver/bottle opener on it. Would this be acceptable? Or would this be the thing that didn't allow my cache to be approved? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
No knife blade? Then it's not a knife. Don't sweat it. Quote Link to comment
+marcjboudreau
Thanks, Renegade. I kind of thouht so, but wanted to make sure. Didn't want to put it out and than have it refused for such a minor thing. Quote Link to comment

+Sputnik 57
An "example" from the Geocacher's Code: A cache you own, or one you're trading out of, could be found by children or even a prisoner work crew - consider the location of the cache and those likely to find it when deciding what to leave as a trade item. This isn't a rule, but just a way of asking yourself "is this appropriate?" Quote Link to comment
+marcjboudreau
Thanks all. I'm looking forward to placing my first cache. I even have an idea for my second one already, just looking for the right spot. Quote Link to comment

After a half a dozen finds everything has changed and the page is outdated. Quote Link to comment
+SeventhSon
If you prefer to list them, you could wait til the cache is approved and post a note listing the original contents. After a few posts, it will be pushed off the cache page. 7 Quote Link to comment

After a few posts, it will be pushed off the cache page. That's a really good idea. I don't list mine for the reason briansnat said, but a log will be pushed into history at about the rate the original contents disappear. Quote Link to comment
