Recently I signed up as a charter member and would like to add a signature logo (jpg) to my profile so that when I post in the forum it automatically adds my signature logo.

Does anyone know how to do this? What is UBB?

Sure ... first the jpg needs to be on the web somewhere ... then in the signature block of your profile ... use the following code:

xxxx replace xxxx with the address to the location of the photo (complete address like you would type in to go to the photos location).

Have added tags....

lets see if this works

Looks like it hasn't updated. Wondering if it takes a little while to update because I also changed "Permian Geocacher" to just "Geocacher" and that didn't change either.

That needs to be an address of where the gif file is located on the web .... http://yourphoto.gif ... and UBB code not HTML .... the address .... hope that helps.

Nope ... waiting till that first production run is completely shipped. Then I'm placing the order. From what I can tell that will be around the end of May or the first week or two of June.

Thank you for the help Hawk-Eye. The logout Login seemed to do the trick. Is this image size appropriate for a signature?

I think you are doing it right, I just don't think you can use the AOL area as the source. When I to to it manually it say the picture has expired.

I think you need an area outside of AOL.

Ranz: Do you mean a bad URL?

p><p>No. The URL is a good address, it just goes to a secured area in AOL. The site does not see a cookie from me and would not see one from anybody but you. It therefore does not allow access to the picture. It says the session is expired. I think you have it all good except the location that the file is stored in needs to have open access. I don

If you you want to test it, email me the picture and I will post it in an open area.
