+Dan-oh
I'm thinking about setting up a series of caches based on some common urban legends. Modifying object to hold containers seems to be a hobby now so it shouldn't be hard to do. So far I have these ideas: - alligators living in the sewers; rubber alligator in a storm drain - scuba diver in the forest; perhaps a swim fin suspended in a tree - the choking doberman; rubber hand (gruesome) - turned around motorcyclist; old helmet After checking www.snopes.com, I realized thats it impossible to sift though all the urban legends. Got any that I can use for a cache? Yeah, I know this thread has a high probability of going OT. Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
Cool site if nothing else. Everything I can think of doesn't translate well to a cache. Quote Link to comment

+Divine
Get an old microwave oven as the container, and place a toy kitten in it. Quote Link to comment
+Dan-oh
Get an old microwave oven as the container, and place a toy kitten in it. Man, and I thought the doberman choking on a finger was pushing it. Sick but it fits the theme. Quote Link to comment
+GreyingJay
Hmm, does this mean I'll reach into the cache and get my finger pricked with an HIV-infected needle? Quote Link to comment
Team GPSousaphone
How about a fake head with larva inside it. Quote Link to comment
+Tsegi Mike and Desert Viking
Actually Im planning a series of urban legend caches, called Arizona Tall Tales. I have 3 lined up so far. Im just waiting for a bit of dental agony to be done and the temps to cool before I do them. One Im especially looking forward to placing, a local legend from the old west days, complete with story and pictures. Sigh, I need to get coords, permission and start placing them Quote Link to comment
+TEAM DARROW
I started to do a cache like this once, but then I woke up in a bathtub full of ice, with my kidneys harvested! Bummer! Quote Link to comment
