+PilotMan
Hi, I apologize if this has been brought up before, but has anyone ever considered like a Puzzle Cache where you have to actually solve puzzles or gather clues to find the cache? I know some people do it anyway but these can sometimes be hard to find, I thought a type of cache specifically meant for puzzles would be kinda neat, kinda like the multicache or event cache. On another note, has anyone ever heard of or seen something kinda like geocaching where you have to find something through the use of puzzles? I seem to recall hearing about something like this a while back but my memory plays tricks on me sometimes. Thanks a bunch. Quote Link to comment
+CrimsonWrath
What you are talking about is basically a Mystery Cache found on the Cache Types Page: The “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges. I've got an A-Maze-ing puzzle cache too! Quote Link to comment

+Two Geeks and a GPS
Cryptonite in Michigan had me searching on the internet for awhile before I got the coordinates. Weelvis has a few puzzle caches that are pretty cool. Cryptonite Quote Link to comment
