+Monkey Toes
8mb cradle software cd Original packaging only slightly used I'm very cheap and don't want to waste my money. Is this good for geocaching purposes? (sorry moderators for the double topic, but I need a quick answer) Edited July 18, 2004 by MonkeyToes108 Quote Link to comment

+GentleWhisper
Oooh, I used to have one of those... I'm only refraining from bidding against you because of some odd geocaching honor code I seem to feel applies here. Quote Link to comment
+AuntieWeasel
An hour and a half is an eternity on eBay. Good luck. Me, I'm trying to pick up a cheap keyboard for my PDA tonight. Quote Link to comment

Looks like it's going to go for over $30 or 40. Boo. How's about a palm M105? same memory. I guess that's the important thing. Everything else is just fluff. +Quintheeskimo66
I've used a Palm M100 and it worked great for caching. The 105 should be even better. And I believe the 105 also takes AAA batteries so there is no worries about it losing it's charge in the field. Quote Link to comment
+Monkey Toes
Thanks for the input guys. I didn't get either one of them. Maybe one of you did? My computer hung up on the 105 and the handspring went for more than I wanted to pay. I'm taking this as a sign that I do not really need one anyway. Quote Link to comment
AJK
I use a this visor - very good for caching - keep looking Quote Link to comment
+Team Owl
I just bought a Palm iiixe for 28.00 shipped, got GSAK and Cachemate all set up and went paperless for the first time this last weekend, it was great! Keep looking MonkeyToes, you will find a great deal. Quote Link to comment
+Runaround
I had an old Deluxe hanging around when my company upgraded me. It's worked fine for geocaching. Quote Link to comment
+Monkey Toes
After about four auctions, I picked up a Palm IIIx for $30. I was really sold on the Handspring for some reason, but the price was right and it appears to be only slightly used. It should be in the mail by now. Man, that Ebay is a killer. My wife asked me what I needed it for. I told her to hold my Geocaching and Letterboxing clues. She gave me one of those sigh/eye roll combos and left it at that. Quote Link to comment
