WindSearcher
I'm not clear on what coordinates are to be entered here. Am I to log the coordinates where my GPS shows the hiding place to be? I'd be reluctant to log the coordinates where I live. I have not seen these coordinates appear in any log entries. Quote Link to comment
+Team OUTSID4EVR
If you found the reported coordinates of a cache to be in error (more than 100 feet or so), you could post the coords where the cache was. Most (90+%) of the listed coords are within a reasonable margin of error. There is no need to post alternate coords in that case. Ï Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
Outside4evr nailed it. Though I'd post cood for about 40' off or more. 90% of all caches I find are within 20'. give or take so I don't worry about it most of the time. ===================== Wherever you go there you are. +Smitherington
There are times when you definitely do not put coordinates there. I remember doing one where the last stage of a multi were off by 60 or 80 feet. You would spoil the multi by posting any caches so you could only post that the numbers were off and give a direction and a distance. Quote Link to comment
