We are planning on hiding this bad boy on Canada Day Probably in the Nanaimo-Ladysmith area. It's going to be hidden a bit differently than the usual cache

That's neat. You probably don't want to give too much information away for the finders... but...did it come with the hook, or did you have to "install" it? How wide is the opening? If you're telling, what WAS that, before it became a cache container?

Hey looks real neat. There is a cache container similar to that at a cache here in Ontario that I found a couple of years ago. It was laying on the ground amongst a bunch of branches/logs in plain view but you had to look really close to see it.

Another I really admired is a similar container but totally covered with Birch bark. Now that was hard to "see" since there was numerous other birch tree logs laying around.
