+Spoo Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 My 60th find and just in time for the 60th Anniversay of D-day. An 1853 Triangulation Station. This is not a FTF, but I think I may be the first to photograph. It is on top of 2,006 foot Pleasant Mountain in western Maine. It is the oldest benchmark I have found and probably will be. Please read about the discovery and see the photos here: http://www.geocaching.com/mark/details.aspx?PID=PF1145 See you on the Trails !!!!! Quote
+ddnutzy Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 This is a great find for you. You are the FTF in the Groundspeak benchmarking game so that say's a lot. The marks on top of mountains are the best. Quote
