+TresOkies
I wasn't planning on buying MetroGuide 5 today, but we were in Target and it had a big red sticker on the front "Was 99.99, now 49.99". I don't know if Target is blowing it out and getting out of the GPS business or if Garmin is planning a newer product soon. Doesn't matter either way--I bought it and I'm installing it as I type. -E Quote Link to comment
AKap
Ok, which state, city, and street? The prices are not the same across the entire US or even the same city. I'll keep my eyes open in my neck of the woods. Thanks. - AKap (Arlington, Texas). Quote Link to comment
+Stem
a couple of months ago the Target in York, PA had it for 60 or 65. The last time I was there I didn't see any copy's left. What about the website? Quote Link to comment

Neo_Geo
Go back to Target and buy every copy that they have left, and then sell them on eBay for $60 - $80!!! Quote Link to comment
+Desert_Warrior
I never remember.... is this the one that will work with my new GPSmap60CS? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+Stem
I never remember.... is this the one that will work with my new GPSmap60CS? Thanks yes and no. City Select is the one you want for auto routing. MG's maps can be loaded, but it wont auto route. I used MG for a couple of weeks on my 60c, before I got CS. I am much happier now that I have CS. W/o CS you are only using a portion of the power of the almighty 60 series. Quote Link to comment
+Desert_Warrior
Hmm... I really don't care much about streets. I am more interested in topo. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+TresOkies
Hmm... I really don't care much about streets. I am more interested in topo. As I mention in my "side by side" comparison thread, MG v5 has very little non-road detail. I'm not very happy with it, but it's better than using the base map. I've reverted back to MG v4. I use U.S.Topo as well. The problem is that I want some POI and address information as well as topo. I wish Garmin would see this and make a product that is 24K Topos with street-level information. I'd pay $150 for it and I promise not to share. -E Quote Link to comment
+Geo Leo
I never remember.... is this the one that will work with my new GPSmap60CS? Thanks MG4 will autoroute on the 60cs. MG5 will not, and doesn't have as much off-road and marine data. Quote Link to comment
