+rusty_tlc
I thought a great way to have more time for caching would be to reduce the house/yard work. I'm landscaping the yard at the new house and have added some real time savers there; No inside corners to mow. Big perenial flower beds with heavy mulch to keep the weeds down. Minimal grass to fertilize/mow/water/...... Perienial flowers require less work than anuals. On the house cleaning front I wanted to lower our standards, you know cut some corners on the house work, but Mrs. Rusty put the nix on that. So I came up with a few ways to reduce the work involved for a spotless house; Turtle Wax the cultured marble counters, they wipe clean with almost no effort. Two cleaning supply carriers, upstairs and down, everything thing is close at hand at all times. I'm looking for a cheap vacuum so we can have another upstairs. Area rugs inside the doors to the outside, they trap dirt before it gets in. Mothers Chrome Polish keeps kitchen/bath fixtures shiny and clean with a quick wipe. What do you do to save time without lowering your standard of living? Quote Link to comment

+wimseyguy
Yup, pay someone else to clean the inside. My wife doesn't need to scrub the bathroom floors (and I'm just not very good at it. ) Now I'm working on getting someone for the outside too. Next up-a barracuda for the pool. I borrowed one from a friends they really work. Does the roomba? Edited April 20, 2004 by wimseyguy Quote Link to comment
