Warbones
I am using a Meridian Color- I just needed to know how detailed this should be on my GPS mainly to see if I have it installed right plus some things that I feel would be visible on my map are not. Some is the cowskin creek, Augusta lake, S.C park water...ect. Quote Link to comment
+EtrexRose
If you can see lots of points of interest or small insignificant local roads, then you have the maps-make sure you go to the menu and select what maps you want it to show. Quote Link to comment
+embra
You have to zoom in close enough to activate the detail map...I think it takes over from the basemap at around .8 or so. POIs will not display until you zoom in even further. Do you see the features you are seeking on the desktop version of DR? If they are missing there, they won't make it to the GPS. Errors can be reported to NavTech for inclusion in updates. Quote Link to comment
+SBPhishy
also, turn your detail to the highest, to see all the POI's. Quote Link to comment
Warbones
I must have it then. I see banks and places to eat. Just kinda figured they could make the parks and water areas a part of that but then again you can buy that on another cd. Quote Link to comment
+SBPhishy
Hmm... I have EVERY park and water area (even the little insignificant ones) on Direct Route for my city, and the city next to it. Quote Link to comment
