ZippySLC
The Garmin dash mount (part # 010-10274-00) is only $24.95. -ben Pine Barrens Outdoor Outfitters www.pboutdoor.com Quote Link to comment
+Team Flashncache
You could also try www.gpsgeek.com I think the suction cup windshield mount is something like $28 or $29 though. Just a thought. Don't know if there are other types of dash mounts. (edit: Having trouble w/ my fingers this morning. LOL) Edited March 21, 2004 by Team Flashncache Quote Link to comment
4x4luv
I like the suction cup window mounts, Because what ever car I'm Driving I can use the same mount. It also gives the GPSr a better view of the sky. Quote Link to comment
teamcricket
I purchaced one of thoes universal cell phone holders that clips into your air conditioner vents. Works great! Bought it at Target for less than $10.00! Quote Link to comment
+ArchaeologyMan
I tried one of those vent mounts in my Trailblazer LT and it didn't work. I bought one of the Garmin dash mounts and used double sided tape to mount it. Don't use the stuff that came with it, it didn't work well for me... Here is a pic of my setup... Quote Link to comment
DiverMan
I have the dash mount that I got at Target for about $25. It sits just out of my main view while driving plus it can rotate so my "navigator" can view it as well. I used the removable tape to mount it with and it has been quite strong. The back that replaces the standard battery cover is unintrusive and fits in my carrying case well. As I said above, I got it at Target. I figured if I didn't like it, I could return it.
