I have both A ledgend And a 1979 Chevy Luv 4x4 truck with a broken speedometer. I bought my gpsr so I could find my speed out. I've been using it for about 3 years now, NO TROUBLES. The best option is the Power plug/Computer cable. I loose things but as one cable I dont lose it. and in the truck I dont have to worry about dead batteries.

Is that for the Rider or the Horse

I dont care what anybody says. About three years ago I bought 4 sets of 1600 batteries. I use my GPSR about 6 hrs a day (I use it as a speedometer on my truck). But have them marked as sets (1 thru 4), I use them till they die all the way then I charge them fully put them in a zippered case. There is no known detereration of the charges.that is the equivalant of about 576 batteries for $32.00 that is about 5 cents a battery and they still work.

I just tell the border guards (Washington State / British Columbia) That you guy's (Canadians) have better pot, than we do. I won't Bring any back or drive intoxacated. Thats against the law. Please & Thank you". Most of the times there jaws hit the ground and wave me by.

I was going to say that it is a yucky unit. but if I was you I would send the unit to me so I could Dispose of it properly But you have had too much truth told to you that it is a great unit

Here is my 2 cents worth, Contact your local GPS group And try the units. I've tried many units and found that my garmin legend fits my hand hand well but the magellin(sp) units don't fit as well

One thing I would like to see is a puzzler section. Where someone could send in a puzzle from a cache and get help or just think up a hard one and send it in . By the way I have a few Hamster/Gerbal Recipes if you would like them

I wonder what Kind of MCtoy you would put in the cache on a satalite.You could you put A magatized Micro, Or would that throw the telemetry off.

I like the suction cup window mounts, Because what ever car I'm Driving I can use the same mount. It also gives the GPSr a better view of the sky.

I went t wally-world last week and picked up a "Media & Battery Holder". I didnt care about the madia stuff but it zipps open has an elastic band that holds 4 sets of batteries. Mine is black but there were other colors

I Think that your "H.P. Supergeek micro-computer (calculator)" should be put in a Cache as a First to find prize.Then you should get some sleep get up early. Try to find what the Max. 'Cache find to hour ratio' in your area should be. Then see how close you gan get to it. Or see what the Max. CITO weight to Cache find you can get.

Is it possable to mark the cache that is not open for findng durring certian times of the year (hunting season) but open the rest of the year. Also because of our CITO program we would be halling out most of the hunters trash. It would be cleaned up for them at the begaining of the season.
