+Cabinwood
While out geocaching today, I had my 60CS hooked on my belt clip. I lost the signal and unhooked it from the belt clip and apparently the little knob was loose and fell off. When I went to hook the GPS back on the belt clip, the little knob was long gone So, a word of warning. Make sure you keep that little knob tightened!!! Quote Link to comment
+Team BlackZ
Mine came loose to, but i saw it just before it fell off. I didn't realize it screwed off until it was almost to late Quote Link to comment
+RockyRiver
Mine almost fell off also. I got it so tight now that it wont budge. If you email Garmin And tell them what happened I am sure they will send you a new one. There customer service is great. Quote Link to comment
+Rubberhead
Mine feel off to but luckly in the house. I noticed that there was some blue "lock-tight" stuff on the threads of the screw. Evidently, they didn't screw the button deep enough at the factory to catch the blue stuff. Now that I've got my screwed in tight, it seems like it is firmly seated. Quote Link to comment
thcri
Them same clips are used on cell phones. My experience is I would never trust them. In fact I am very dissapointed in the way Garmin designed the clip and the cradle for the handle bar mount and suction cup mount. If you hit a good bump with the handle bar mount your GPS will fall out. So just watch it. I wish they would have stayed with the battery compartment mount. Maybe they will change it some day. Also mine came loose out of the GPS also. murph Quote Link to comment
+NimravusHSSR
I wish they had a plastic holster like the cell phones have, screen side in. Quote Link to comment
utbill
Hi, Mine came off and I dropped the GPs.. It was inside the house and fell on carpet... Garmin needs to make sure that they screw the thing all the way in!!! Bill Quote Link to comment
+RSorak
Mine fell off and I lost it within the 1st hour. I've emailed Garmin asked for another. No reply yet.... Quote Link to comment
+pecka
I would suggest using blue Loctite 242 on the screw to secure it. I use it on my MTB on the parts that come loose Quote Link to comment
+Cabinwood
Great news! I had emailed Garmin when I came home after losing it. I was out of town for the weekend and when I checked my email today, I had an email from them stating they're sending me a replacement. I'm impressed Quote Link to comment
