Pat_in_Utah
Don't have a GPSr yet (60CS Friday), but am looking at all the software options. Can I download detailed maps from different CDs (mapsource, topo, parks, marine...) of northern Utah and put them all on the 60CS at one time? I'm wanting to have details of the city, then if I go to backroads, I could see the topo maps, if fishing, switch to the fishing hot spot maps - all on the fly, without having to download them from the PC? Am I dreaming? Thanks, Pat Quote Link to comment
+Wienerdog
Yes, you can switch between map sets. From the Map Page on the GPS press Menu and select Setup Map > Enter and then >Menu. That last page allows you to select or deselect entire map groups. Key sequence Edited March 10, 2004 by Wienerdog Quote Link to comment
Pat_in_Utah
Cool, thanks! I got the auto nav kit for now. Will have to read more on the CDs, like the recreation one - it sounds interesting. Pat Quote Link to comment
Neo_Geo
like the recreation one - it sounds interesting. Are you talking about Roads & Recreation? If so, forget it. It's old and discontinued data, the maps generally suck and if you get the Auto Nav kit, then you've got City Select which contains about 50 times as much data as RnR.
