Broderick
Hello all, new user here. Great website! Is it possible to look up all cache sites in a state park easily? For example, I'm interested in Wompatuck State Park which is in 3 towns. I can look up all 3 zip codes but it is not easy to determine if the sites are actually located within the park. Is there an easier way to do this? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
+Cherokeecacher
I am not sure about looking it up this way on GC.com; I do not think you can. Try posting this in your regional area, and you might find someone that has put a web site together for your state. you can look here and here to see what a kind person put together for Texas. +robert
You can also use the MAP IT! feature to see where the caches are and identify them that way. Quote Link to comment
+geckoee
mrkablooey has a good point. The "Geocaching.com Maps" are a good tool for this. (Found on every cache page) They show most park boundaries, and all the caches that are in the area. Quote Link to comment
+yumitori
You can also try a Google search with the park's name and words such as 'cache'. It won't turn up all of them, but many geocachers will at least mention the name of the park in their description. Quote Link to comment
martmann
If it's a park nearby, you can mark a waypoint there, and search by coordinates. Or if you have a map program, you can use that to get the coordinates. Quote Link to comment
