Weird how it's #43, but I can't find any earlier than this one. Quote
+IV_Warrior Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 Well, I'm sure there were travelers before the gc.com travel bugs, but here's one of the early travel bugs. Shop Groundspeak bug ID=28 Well, how about ID=1 one of Jeremy's bugs Deadly duck: Envy Quote

57delivery team Posted February 10, 2004 Author Posted February 10, 2004 Thanks for the info. I have only been playing this game a few months, but I don't think that I will stop anytime soon. My family and I love to be outside wether on the water or land, fishing or camping. We can have fun with this sport all year no matter where we go. So many caches so little time. 57delivery Team Quote
+TresOkies Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 I bought my bugs an hour or so after they went online. There was a bit of excitement and conjecture leading up to "Jeremy's new idea". I was checking the forums often. I bought a pack of 5 the moment I realized the gig was up. Of those original 5, 3 are lost. One is still in the wild and one came home to me. +CacheCreatures Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 Well if log lore can be trusted, Kermit the Frog, the first travel bug was dropped off by Jeremy himself in Adam's Moon View Cache. We had the chance to visit this historic cache in Nov03. It would seem this cache has almost become a mecca for travel bugs. Can YOU say you've logged the birthplace of the travel bug? Quote
