+Team GPSaxophone
Beatnik seems to think there won't be issues with this GPS when getting on a plane. He may be right, I doubt you could get that far through the airport to worry about getting on a plane! I'd recommend putting this one in your checked luggage. Use your other, no-frills, GPS in-flight. Link to comment
+The Blind Acorn
Speaking of airports and just out of sheer curiosity, can you take a GPS on a plane these days and do they work in flight?????? Not that I plan on flying anywhere the rest of my life. Link to comment
+Sparky-Watts
Ya know, if it was a Garmin, I just might buy one! Link to comment
+Team GPSaxophone
This is wierd, I just posted this a little while ago and couldn't get back to it from my "last 10 posts" link in My Assistant. I hope my browser isn't acting up again. If the original post shows up, I'll close it so the discussion can continue here. Link to comment

It also helps to fly airlines that allow, or don't specifically prohibit, GPSr's in-flight Link to comment
+mtn-man
Actually, the reason why it disappeared is because I merged it back into the topic it belonged to! Since you didn't read my post in that topic, I see you started it again. You started this because Beatnik dared you to and so I'm going to close this topic. I would appreciate it if this discussion continued in the one topic that is already started. Link to comment
