Vlad
and hopefully they will have more than 10 proximity waypoints like most garmin units do... 10 is not enough! Quote Link to comment
+leatherman
Maybe I missed it. However I don't see any comments on how the 60 looks like a Bastard child of a Rino and a Meridian. It definitely has a Rino body. Someone said it looks big. The Rino is smaller than the GPS V. Someone said the screen looks small like an Etrex. The Rino has a 1.4X1.4 screen. Which is only .1 narrower than the GPS V. So I'm guessing the 60 has a 2.2X1.4 screen. Not much different than the GPS V. Yes Garmin is trying to trump Magellan. They have to match or beat the color models of Magellan. They have to try to offer something with a little memory. How can you compete with a pocket full of 128meg cards? No, taking along a laptop is not cutting it. A very small amount of people have laptops. I have one and I won't take it everywhere I can my GPSr. I just bought a Rino. It was like traveling back to the stone ages. 8megs of memory and a serial connection. Quote Link to comment
