+yummykaz
Thought all you photo shoppers can help me. I need to do a map from the house of worship to the hotel for an upcoming family event. Does anyone know where I can create a pretty, fun map that I could insert icons etc? The Mapquest maps are sort of dull. I am looking for a program where I could draw my own almost. I saw a beautiful map in the previous Martha Stewart magazine that looked drawn by an artist. I don't have money for that! Thanks for any tips. Becki Quote Link to comment
+Alan2
Becki: You might try copying the Mapquest map into Paint which is in the Accessories section of WIndows Programs. Paint is a program where you can write in labels, change color, enlarge the map, draw lines, etc. kind of like you're using, well, a paint set. May not be perfect, but it's free and will allow you to customize Mapquest's original map into something personal. Good luck. Alan Quote Link to comment
SkyeMaloney
I dont know how much help I can be or how fast but shoot me a mail at work and I'll see if I can throw a simple one together to see if it's something that can help you. skye.maloney@ycnga.com I'm no pro, but something basic should be easy enough. ------------------------------------------- http://www.hardcorebodybuildingontheweb.com Quote Link to comment
Wanderingson
Becki, Did that cute Martha Stewart map show a cute little Icon for her Jail Cell? I have made maps by scanning the map page and inserting stuff on photoshop. Just need to play with the program a lttle. "I cache; therefore I am" Quote Link to comment
