I've seen Smart Media and Compact Flash.

That would be cool if they carried SD too.

The one in Everett, WA had them just the other day. They were right next to the CF and SM cards. They don't always have them in the store. That's how costco is, if you see something you want you gotta buy it right then because it might not be there the next week

But I think it applies here too.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but....

a "SanDisk" card is not an SD card it is actually a CF or "Compact Flash" card. My digital camera uses "SanDisk" and it will NOT fit into my Platinum. I just want to make sure nobody is off buying the wrong disks.

Again, correct me if i'm wrong,

Paul

There are the following:

Compact Flash

Ultra Compact Flash (faster)

SD Expansion

Smart Media

Secure Digital

Multi Media

Memory Sticks

San Disk makes a version of most of them. Costco.com carries most of them and our local Costco usually carries CF, Secure Digital and sometimes Smart Media and Memory Sticks.

SanDisk is a brand that makes many different cards including Secure Digital (SD) cards. They were involved in creating the SD format.
