+booksncomics Posted April 28 Posted April 28 GCWVJX and one I have not been to yet. From looking at the description, it looks like a traditional hide, so why is that symbol on the map? Quote
+Max and 99 Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Are the coordinates on the geocache page in italics? Quote

+booksncomics Posted April 29 Author Posted April 29 Gotcha. It’s more like a coordinate correction then than a puzzle? 1 Quote

On the website description, yes If this is the case, then you must've edited and resumbitted the coordinates at some point. 49 minutes ago, booksncomics said: 1 hour ago, Max and 99 said: Are the coordinates on the geocache page in italics? No If this is the case, its probably just a common visual glitch usually after you opened a solved puzzle cache or something Quote
+booksncomics Posted April 29 Author Posted April 29 Jumping pig, i just saw the marker on the map for the first time tonight. I didn’t change anything. But someone else mentioned the coordinates in the log, so if I understand what Smitherington and Max and 99 told me, somehow, they made a change to the coordinates and the cache icon changed from the regular treasure box on green balloon to the puzzle piece on blue. Did I get that right, Max and 99/Smitherington? Quote

+booksncomics Posted April 29 Author Posted April 29 (edited) How is it done? If I did it, it was purely accidental. And how do I undo it? Edited April 29 by booksncomics Quote

Like I explained earlier, you do it and undo it by clicking on the pencil icon next to the coordinates. You can change the coordinates this way, or you can hit the restore button that puts them back to the original coordinates. When you put corrected coordinates in, you also have to click the accept button before it saves them. Edited April 29 by Max and 99 Quote
+booksncomics Posted April 29 Author Posted April 29 Aha. Well I know part of how I did it then. There have been times when I hold my finger on the coordinates so I can copy and paste them into google maps, and that box pops up. I guess I had another set of coordinates on my clipboard when trying to close the box. I don’t remember saving it though. Quote

+booksncomics Posted April 29 Author Posted April 29 I know I’m trying your patience with my ignorance about so much of this. Thanks for sticking with me until I finally understand. Quote
