+Naefearjustbeer
http://www.clocktower.demon.co.uk/eclipse2003/ But if you are in the far North ofScotland at the end of May. Here is something that might be interesting. I am planning to take my tent up to Durness to watch the eclipse. Quote Link to comment
+Pooter
3.18 in the morning!!. Still, where do you pitch your tent in Durness? Quote Link to comment
+jeremyp
It's not a proper eclipse though is it. It's a long way to go for an eclipse where the moon is too small. ------- jeremyp The second ten million caches were the worst too. http://www.gagb.org.uk Quote Link to comment

I did want to set it as a locationless cache where to log it you would give a photo the time and your lat and long. But they are not allowing these caches any more and I dont think it strictly matched the guidlines anyway. Quote Link to comment

+Flackadder
Way to far north for me. Passport, Visas, injections. Way to much trouble Bob.... http://www.bobh.co.uk Quote Link to comment
+page28
Really nice part of the world up there. I wish I could get up there....WE ( the family) were up there ( Balchrick) at Easter. If only I could find a way to live up there Quote Link to comment
+Naefearjustbeer
I know what you mean it is a lovely area to live in and I am lucky to live in the far north. Low crime rates and reasonable cost of living. except the price of fuel for the car. When I was in Dundee a few weeks ago diesel was 12pence a litre cheaper than at home. So if anyone is planning a trip fill your tanks at Inverness. The last place with reasonable priced fuel and open 24hours Quote Link to comment
+Naefearjustbeer
Oh well I survived staying up late for the eclipse and even got sun burnt at the weekend 26 degrees C In Durness. Here is a link to some photos http://www.scotlandindex.net/annular.htm I would post some of my photos but they are not very good. AUT PAX AUT BELLUM Quote Link to comment
+The Bennett Family
We saw what there was of it to see from down here (about 1/3 coverage) on the way down the M40 to Oxford on an early morning T&J bear grabbing run. Full coverage or not it was still well worth seeing. We take our children everywhere, but they always find their way back home... Quote Link to comment
