+Teuchters
I have a Garmin 12 running software version 4.58 The updated version 4.60 only makes changes to french translations so it won't suit everyone! Quote Link to comment

That's what the release notes say, but I upgraded mine anyway, just for the sake of being up to date. I did find that after the restart it seemed to get a satellite lock and fix from a warm start much quicker. BUT, I've also found that a week later the thing won't switch on! Tuesday night it was fine. I had it hooked up to a laptop shunting waypoints back and forth. Switched it off, and left it on the side. Yesterday morning tried to turn it on, to go out and place a cache. Nothing. Nix. Dead as a very dead thing on planet Moribund. Changed batteries - no different. Co-incidence? Quote Link to comment
