+2lablovers Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 Did challenge caches in Flagstaff and now CO has archived them. Can I still log them:? Some we qualify for but others it would be a while. Quote

+Goldenwattle Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 If you have already found and signed the log as a note, you can then log a find when you qualify. Hopefully it won't be locked, which is unfair with challengers if there are still notes that haven't been converted to finds. If you mean can you go and find them after they have been archived, if the CO couldn't be bothered to remove the cache, that's fair game to go find, sign and when you qualify, log it as a find. Your choice whether you do your civic duty and remove the now abandoned rubbish. As long as it's not on the CO's land, it's now abandoned rubbish. I would be very tempted to remove it as litter, which it now is, as it's not good to leave. It's why there are CITOs. But log the find; you deserve to for removing the now litter, which the CO should have done. 2 Quote
