+BigFurryMonster Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 When I share the link to a cache page on Social Media, a preview is shown. This contains only generic Geocaching information. It would be helpful to put the name in this preview. This can easily be done via meta tags in the cache page source. This allows readers to immediately understand which cache is being referred to. See attached example of current situation. 6 1 Quote
+KRON family Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 This situation has been going on for several years. I also think it would be helpful if the previews were specific again. However, I fear that HQ must had some compelling reasons for removing this feature. So I'm not sure if it's possible to recover it. Sharing the Event on Facebook, 2017/2023: 1 Quote

Geocaching HQ's social media team was alerted to the issue at that time. There has, obviously, been no progress in fixing this on Facebook's end. I'm repeating my answer from a prior forum topic on this subject. 1 Quote
