Advanced Search discontinued?

One question about the “Advanced Search” feature on the original dashboard. It does not seem to be working and instead defaults to the regular search page. Has this feature been discontinued?

 

I ask because this was the one surviving way I could do a search to find the nearest caches to a set of coordinates. I have posted a few times in the past year asking whether this functionality will be made available again on the regular search page but I’m not getting any helpful response. And now the Advanced Search option appears to be gone.
 

Has the decision been made just not to allow for effective searches from a set of coordinates (other than your home coordinates)?

I used a link like https://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?lat_ns=1&lat_h=49&lat_mmss=&long_ew=1&long_h=9&long_mmss=0

which is not working since a few days.

 I tried something like https://www.geocaching.com/play/results/?st=N+49°+0.0'+E+9°+0.0'&oid=-1&ot=query&asc=false

But I dont get a complete result, sorted by the distance to the given coordinates.

Is there a possibility to search for caches at a place?

Yes, there is a workaround: Create a PQ and then call the PQ's preview.

Then I would prefer to set the home coordinates to the desired value und afterwards back again. (Or do it with my preferred app and transfer the result)

This seems to be a good spot to report my concern too. Please see this cache.

Note that I spent days working on the HTML to make this challenge work. Now none of the links work. I can edit the URL on the regular search to get it down to my .5 miles or less than a mile I need, but then it sorts the list by distance from me instead of the distance from the search point. I am hoping I do not have to rework all of that HTML code. 

 

Anything HQ can do to help with this would be very much appreciated.

Are you sure? I clicked the search link for item 6 on your list and it returned this, which is definitely not sorted by distance from me:

Thanks mgo! That was the link I used to use and that stopped working for me as well. I think it used to be accessible through the Advanced Search page on the original dashboard but that now directs me to the normal search page. But the link does seem to be working again which is great.
