+WRASTRO
County assessors in Washington usually have maps online that allow you to see who owns each tax parcel. I'm in Skagit county and I use it from time to time. Quote Link to comment
+WRASTRO
It seems like About Us | Peninsula Trails Coalition | Olympic Discovery Trail is probably a good place to check if you haven't already. 2 Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
Trails like this are often a cooperation with many jurisdictions, with tribal, federal, state, county, city and even park entities that own and maintain sections. Agree with WRASTRO, looks like PTC is your best bet. If they're the ones who aren't responding, your area's Reviewer may be able to offer helpful info on permissions (who owns where). 1 Quote Link to comment
+JL_HSTRE
Usually the county Property Appraiser's or Tax Assessor's office. Current ownership info, with map search capability, is available free on their website in many areas though some counties are too poor/cheap to catch up to 21st century accessibility. Keystone
I merged together two threads started by @geocreek5 on very similar subjects. See the reply from @JL_HSTRE from 11/13. Quote Link to comment
