Geocaching in the Bahamas

So, I'll be on a cruise in January '24 and one of our stops will be on a private island owned by NCL.  Obviously, I wouldn't be able to maintain a cache placed, but what about placing a virtual there that doesn't require any maintenance.  What are your thoughts on this?

First, you would need to be in the drawing to receive a Virtual Reward cache. To do this you would need to hide a new cache that earns three favorite points prior to the end of 2023.

Next, you would need to win a Virtual Reward in the random drawing on January 17, 2024, just before leaving on your cruise.

Then you would need to hide a cache that meets the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.  One issue is commercialism.  Can I freely visit the private island without paying money to NCL, a commercial business?  If not, then this is a no-go.

How can I qualify for a chance to hide a Virtual Cache?

 

You must have a non-Event geocache published in 2023 that has earned at least 4 Favorite points by December 31, 2023.
