+granskog123 Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 Sent in an new cache some days ago and accidentally dropped a trackable that I didn’t actually put in the cache. I deleted the log but the trackable still shows up on the cache page and isn’t in my inventory. Is my only option to do a “grab it” log? The cache isn’t published yet. Quote

+frumiousb Posted May 6 Posted May 6 This has happened to me *twice* today. It's happened before. And every time, it's several steps instead of one to fix the problem. First I accidentally dropped *all* of my TBs into my own event, rather than just the ones I was passing along. Had to look up the codes to retrieve the rest since HQ hasn't implemented any sort of "undo" for a drop or log and hasn't added a "yoyo" feature for events, caches, etc. (ie. one button that you can click to pull all of *your* owned TBs back into your inventory from that event/cache). Later, I did a Write Note on a cache that might be unavailable, thinking nothing of it; at the very end of the evening, I happened to check my email and saw that every one of my TBs had been dropped into the cache for which I'd done that Write Note. And that was before I physically went and found six or seven caches. As we've all discovered, deleting the Write Note didn't bring my TBs back >:( So now I have to manually re-grab each of them (ugh) and then manually edit the logs for each of the caches I visited tonight to dip the TBs into each. Royal pain, this is. Waste of an hour or more to fix it when I could be sleeping >:( 1 Quote
