Home location not showing correctly

I tried several times to correct by dragging the arrow on the map (website) to the right location on the map which is x. But when I center the map on my profile location the center is different (that's in the middle of the harbour) is this a bug?  If not why is this location attached to my profile avatar?

Since this is a public forum, I edited out the coordinates you posted, in case you did not wish the internet to know where you live.

 

I would recommend you edit your profile to remove the coordinates - most people just go with a general location, such as city, state/province/Bundesland, or even just their home country. You don't have to list your home coordinates publicly.

 

As far as the home coordinates that you set in your personal settings, those are simply for calculating how far your home is from a given geocache. So while it's helpful to be precise, it's OK to be close enough.

The Chief requires me to change my home coordinates on a daily basis, so I use this feature more than anyone I know. I do not currently see any problems.

Is your home location centered correctly on the map when you minimize the search bar on the left?

The map is technically full screen, even though when the search bar shows, we only see ~4/5th of the map.
