Now for a little humor - these were posts on one of the GPS news groups. The Vista is $460 Cdn icon_eek.gif

 

1st post

 

well just got back from a fishing trip, and was drinking a few beers, went to show the boys that my Garmin Vista floats.

Well It didn't, I lost it in 80 ft of water!

I just read it is water "proof",thats all

 

2nd post

 

I thought my Vista floated and lost it in 40 ft of water, anyway I have a bike mount, protective pouch (that floats!)and 2 lighter adapters for

sale that I now, dont need.

Cool cause the exact location is on the GPSr's and they've had a lonnggggg time to average out, problem is.....(glub glub glub)
