boreal jeff & sons
My first and only Travel Bug has been borrowed or kidnapped. Read the last log entry TB Page. The finder has zero finds and hides except for my TB. I have a feeling I won't be hearing from this TB again. What do you think? +DirtRunner
Don't worry man, it looks like it will eventually show up but she may need a gentle hint to push it along. Write her in the new year and see if she could move it along then. DirtRunner. Your not first...But you could be next. Quote Link to comment
+Decodoppler
Hey, this the Bug was lifted from one of my caches... checking back on the logs for the cache, this user was in on the action http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest_cache.asp?u=StFursto and they have some finds and one cache placed. A polite reminder to them might work wonders... they are a new cacher so you might phrase it in terms of coaching advice Anyway, hope it gets on the road soon... it's a nice looking bug! gm100guy
I now how you feel. My monster popper has met the same fate. But I still send emails and hope it will be set free again soon. gm100guy http://members.rogers.com/gm100guy/cachepage.htm Quote Link to comment
boreal jeff & sons
I've emailed the finder utsi and this is what I said: "I see you picked up my Travel Bug "Blue Bug" from a geocache on Monday, October 21, 2002. Could you help it on its way by placing it in another Geocache soon. It is my first and only travel bug and I'm hoping to hear about it soon." +Decodoppler
Be interested to hear the response Jeff... hope the bug hits the road for you soon... off to such a good start too. Take care DD Quote Link to comment
+Couparangus
I lost my first cache-hopper that I placed in my Shortcut to the Old Cabin cache. This one predated the high-tech serial numbered bugs. It was an oversized plastic grasshopper with instructions and an email address engraved on the underside of its abdomen. I was kinda looking forward to getting emails from all over the world - especially after the tedious engraving took me over an hour! Ah well, the other two bugs I've trafficked are still alive and well. The one that Olar started has logged over 7,000 miles now. Quote Link to comment
boreal jeff & sons
My TB has been placed and is no longer lost. Thanks to all who gave me advice. My opinion of the world has improved. Every hour spent geocaching is added to the end of your life Quote Link to comment
